About This Murder Mystery

With their high school career coming to an end, the students of Mayhem High find themselves battling it out over grades, popularity, affection, class rankings and what they all have been focused on for years… Who will be awarded the prom king and queen title? As the night unfolds, the royalty will be rewarded and an innocent life will be claimed. First Time?

How It Works

01
Receive Your Character Packet
Before the night begins you get your character's backstory, secrets, relationships, and a checklist that walks you through every interaction — step by step.
02
Work the Room
Mingle, interrogate, and scheme. Share what helps you, hide what doesn't. Every guest plays a real character — no actors, no observers.
03
Vote to Reveal the Killer
At the end of the night, the group votes. The murderer is revealed — and the best detective wins.
No acting experience needed. The checklist walks you through every interaction from minute one. Most first-timers say it's the easiest social event they've ever attended.

Common Questions

Frequently Asked Questions

It's practically designed for one. The 80s nostalgia hits hard and the prom setting already has built-in drama for anyone who lived through it.
Costume is encouraged but never required. That said — this theme has some of the best costume participation of any event we run. Someone always shows up in a full prom dress and they always win the room.
Broadly — the 80s setting resonates with guests who lived it, and the prom drama is universally relatable. We've run this for guests from their 20s through their 60s with equal success.
