How It Works

01
Receive Your Character Packet
Before the night begins you get your character's backstory, secrets, relationships, and a checklist that walks you through every interaction β€” step by step.
02
Work the Room
Mingle, interrogate, and scheme. Share what helps you, hide what doesn't. Every guest plays a real character β€” no actors, no observers.
03
Vote to Reveal the Killer
At the end of the night, the group votes. The murderer is revealed β€” and the best detective wins.
No acting experience needed. The checklist walks you through every interaction from minute one. Most first-timers say it's the easiest social event they've ever attended.

Frequently Asked Questions

Not at all. Everything you need is in your character packet. Think of it less as historical roleplay and more as a dramatic dinner party β€” the Regency setting is the backdrop, not a quiz.
Regency gowns and period suits are warmly encouraged and always get compliments. If you'd rather not costume, smart cocktail attire fits right in. There is no strict dress code β€” the goal is to feel like you belong at the party.
Yes β€” and that's by design. The character packet includes a checklist that tells you exactly who to talk to and what to do at each stage of the night.
Events typically run 2 hours. Plan to arrive a few minutes early to receive your character packet and get settled before the mystery begins.
Solo tickets are absolutely welcome. You're assigned a character and immediately have natural reasons to talk to everyone in the room.
