Why this format

A murder mystery built to travel

Most murder mystery shows depend on a cast of actors. Ours depends on the guests, which is what makes it simple to take to a new city.

01

Every guest plays

No cast to hire, rehearse or schedule. Each guest gets a character, secrets and a checklist, and one trained host guides the room from first clue to final accusation.

02

Partner venues, no storefront

Public shows run at restaurants, resorts and wineries that want a ticketed night their guests will talk about. Private parties go to the client’s home, office or venue.

03

Three kinds of events

Public ticketed shows, private parties for birthdays and holidays, and corporate team building, in person or virtual. One format, three audiences.

04

A licensed story library

15+ themes, from a 1920s speakeasy to a Hill Country winery to a séance, licensed for public and private events, so there’s always a new case to sell.

Proven at home

Trusted by Texas venues

Resorts, wineries and distilleries across the San Antonio area and the Hill Country already host our shows, and local media have covered them.

  • Hyatt Regency Hill Country
  • Wimberley Valley Winery
  • Garrison Brothers
  • Lost Oak Winery
  • Blue Lotus Winery

Behind the scenes

The toolkit behind every show

Running a murder mystery is more than a script. These are the systems we use today to book, run and follow up every event. What’s included for partners would be set out in our franchise documents.

Host hub

Watson

Our own host app. Character pages, name tags, voting results and the post-event report, all pulled from the theme files and ready on show night.

Event management

monday.com

Every booking, venue, client and host in one place, from first inquiry to show night, including host applications.

Website & calendar

A site that sells

A public show calendar with ticket links, plus booking pages for private parties and corporate events.

Story library

Theme pages

A page for every theme with its story, characters and content guide, so clients can choose their case.

Payments

Online checkout

Card and digital-wallet payments online through WooCommerce and Stripe.

Reviews & search

Proof that updates itself

Google reviews pulled onto the site daily, plus SEO tools and FAQ pages built so search engines and AI assistants can find and quote you.

Marketing & automation

Analytics & Zapier

Google Analytics, the Meta pixel and visitor heatmaps to see what’s working, with Zapier connecting the systems so less is done by hand.

Built to scale

Grow at your own pace

One host can run the whole room, so you can start by hosting yourself. Your market grows with the venues and events you book there.

  1. Stage 1

    Host it yourself

Start as an owner-host. You run the events, so you don’t need to hire anyone until your calendar outgrows your own weekends.

  2. Stage 2

    Add hosts

When you’re booking more nights than you can host, bring on freelance hosts and train them on the same format.

  3. Stage 3

    Fill your market

Take on as many partner venues, private parties and corporate events as you can sell in your market. The format doesn’t cap how many nights you run.

Ideal partners

Is this you?

You don’t need a theater background. The format does the heavy lifting; you build the business around it.

Join the interest list

We’re looking for

  • People who are energized by hosting and live events
  • Strong local network, especially with venues and event planners
  • Sales, marketing or hospitality experience
  • Comfort managing a small freelance team
  • Community-minded and guest-first

The process

From interest to opening night

  1. Join the list

Tell us about you and the city you have in mind.

  2. Intro call

A conversation about the format, your market and whether it’s a fit.

  3. See it live

Come to a show as a guest and watch the room take over.

  4. Review the details

Go through the franchise documents in full before deciding anything.
